If you have an allergy like me, you might find it difficult to find a allergen free coffee shop. I have searched and searched, but finally I decided to make my own. Here is how to make a homemade caramel latte (from scratch 😉 )!

Ingredients:
4.5 oz coffee (decaf or regular)
2 oz sugar*
4 oz cream*
1 cup milk
*You can use different amounts of sugar according to how much sweetness you like, but there should be 1 parts sugar to 2 parts cream.
Directions:
Put the coffee into a mason jar (I prefer a mason jar, but use whatever you like (such as a mug)). Place the cream into a pot and bring to a simmer (not a boil) over medium heat. Put the sugar into another saucepan and melt over medium heat. Let it turn to a golden brown color. 1-2 spoonfuls at a time, stir the hot cream into the caramel. (You do not have to use all of the cream! Just enough to make the caramel a more liquid and creamy consistency.) Add the caramel into the coffee and stir. Foam the milk using a coffee machine. Pour the foamed milk into the coffee. Enjoy!
